Tipi field Singhampton project

Tipi field Singhampton project  Eigenseen farm, Singhampton, Ontario, Canada 2012

A project activating all senses.

Designed in association with Michael Stadtlandler. We conceived a menu compound of 6 dishes-drawings. The principle is to eat a recipe where used plants make up a drawing in the landscape. We see the work, we feel it, we touch it, we hear it and especially we eat it.

Teepee Field: There was a metal teepee, built many years ago, in the field. We wanted to begin the gastronomic adventure by paying tribute to Native Canadian food. The design and the dish are composed of the “three sisters” of Native Canadian cuisine—corn, squash and beans—served in portions of whiskey barrels.
